Thankful? You Bet!

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Family, friends, pets, jobs, the best daycare around, I could go on and on an on! Thursday and Friday were spent with family...and LOTS.OF.FOOD! Saturday was date night. We went out to dinner with some good friends at the Herkimer (I recommend). On the way home, at the late hour of 7pm, we just couldn't head home. So where did we end up?...That's right TARGET! I mean we had a sitter, why not have some peaceful grocery shopping. Our lives are so exciting... :)

Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving...Enjoy!

 Dad the handyman!

Pretty sure he wore his 'turkey eatin pants' :) The traditional after dinner shot of Uncle Dave

Around early February, we will have another reason to be thankful. Little baby, also known as Little Tike, (currently in Maura's belly below) will be making his debut. I have only been waiting 27 years for my Uncle Dave to give me a cousin. Lilah is excited to have another playmate!!

We hope your Thanksgiving was just as memorable!!

Head and Shoulders...Knees and Toes - Lilah Style!

14 months...I have to stay, I think this stage is my new favorite. However, I am finding that I say that as each new stage comes and goes. Maybe we are wired this way so that we don't get so sad when our babies get older. Actually...I am still a little sad that my baby is no longer a baby. But I am so proud of her already...and the things she learns each day amaze me more and more!! Here is a video of her newest 'skills'. Sorry it is sideways. I can't figure out how to turn the video.

Even if your neck is now sore...you get the idea! She does know where her nose is too. She just sniffs when you ask instead of pointing...i love her!

She can also climb onto the couch now. Lord help us! Here are a few pictures of her 'chillin' in her new favorite place.

I am definitely thankful for this munchkin!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!!

Splish Splash...or Something Like That!

Lilah LOVES bath time. You say the word 'bath' and she (as well as Odie) runs straight to the bathroom. One leg is usually up over the side of the tub before I even get her socks off! (Unless a certain auntie is here...then she tries to take a dip in the toilet (don't worry, I had just cleaned it earlier that day) as her bath water is running...oops! Lesson learned! ;)

Her newest entertainment in the tub is to line up all of her toys, let me knock them back in...and then do it all over again. If you know Lilah at all, you know that she does not sit still, and she gets bored with any activity after about 5 seconds. This keeps her busy for at least 20 minutes.

Poor Odie. Plastic bath toys are his weakness. He has been known to jump in the tub to retrieve one or two. As you can tell, when I am looking he tries to be good.

The look of concentration. I mean can you really put a duck next to a pelican?

These next two should have been my cue to cut bath time short, but I hadn't even washed her hair yet. Just a few minutes later she made an abrupt exit and I was glad the toys were on the edge. Daddy got to deal with getting pajamas on the disappointed baby while mommy got to clean out the tub. Oh well, there is always tomorrow!

Finally...

After stalking all of my friends with blogs, I finally decided to give this a shot. Let's see how interesting life is as a Kraemer. :)

So...we are definitely busy around our household these days. With a 1 year old who loves being outside, we are finding this weather change slighly challenging. Our little go-getter does not like to be cooped up. However, she also doesn't really know what to think of the snow yet either. Here are a few pictures of her first snow experience as a walking toddler.

After driving on a skating rink last night I was tempted to move somewhere tropical, but with that not an option, my little one must learn to love the snow. Maybe I will right along with her!!
